"The icthus at Christmas"

Looking at the fish in this picture may not remind you of Christmas, especially if you simply see it as a fish and that is all. If the cross is not a cross and just a necklace, then this is how you will merely see it. And surely, looking at a book that appears to be a Bible, has no relevance pointing to baby Jesus as the Savior being born, has no importance for you. These symbols will not have relevance. They are not shopping symbols, expressing a new car or a pair of pants, a good meal or a drink of your best beverage. This ancient symbol of the fish along with the Bible, and cross represents Savior Jesus, everlasting to everlasting.

He is God. During this December month the birth of baby Jesus is born in a manger, and as we sing "Away in a Manger," this precious hymn sings of a precious baby's birth born, Jesus. "Jesus is all the world to me," are the words to another song of praise drawing mankind to him for hope, trust, and faith. He is here. Often this fish on the back of cars creates all kinds of conclusions, inferences, thoughts, and debates, as Greek letters or in English conclusions. This will not be spoken of now. Merry Christmas.

Well, another type of example among people, is the spelling Xmas instead of Christmas. Conversations may involve disrespecting Christ (God) by spelling Xmas. In purchasing my own icthus products over the years I researched this symbol discovering that in languages of antiquity "X" means Christ, not x out or dismiss. During this time and season as we enjoy work, rest, shopping for what is in our hearts, let us be aware of the love of God and knowing how He spells Christmas.

L-O-V-E. Be aware that God is love and He loves you. He loves all that He created, He just wants us to relate to His love. Looking at the icthus, cross, and Holy Bible. Read, see and event, or share the Birth of Christ with someone. Amen.

Have A Merry Christmas
