Scripture verse: When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
We often consider level and time factors when trying to get something done and completed. When the task or assignment is done, there is an excitement, in consideration of not having to do the task again. This time is holy week in the holy season for Christians in the world, this week recognizes Easter, Resurrection Sunday. Recognizing Christ's empty tomb, "stating He is alive and has risen from the dead." Christ having saved man-kind, human-kind from their sin.
Salvation indicates, Jesus died on the cross for humanity and was buried in a tomb. He died and death could not hold Him in the grave. He rose.
Grace, the free gift of God, where Jesus paid the sin debt at the cross to be deliver, turn away, be in the presence of Christ by confession of faith, receiving the gift of salvation through grace of God's love.
Walk of faith. Jesus bore the ultimate expression of Love at the cross and rose from the dead.
Question: What is unfinished in your life?
This post was meant to post after Easter Sunday. Late as it may be, here it is. +
Gracious,
