Summer Months: Family, Friends, or Associates

Thinking of family, friends, or associates during the summer months can be an interesting project to take on. The anticipation of activities, vacations, and home happenings can be tasking to the rigors of summer heat. Hurricane safety preparations, and planning activities with a low budget can be a saving grace. There is an intuition with summer days portraying enjoyment with at least one more activity aside from another movie. Recently, I tried to get some folks to go bowling, and it was quite an interesting response of varied comments. I'm not sure if people knew what bowling represented in regard to socializing, as a fun activity. I felt as though the people I knew were either working too much, not enough, or something, I could not understand. Well, I had a low budget, anyway. I viewed the cost of bowling online, truly looking for that team bowl. Since it's summer, I'll try again. Involving health and wellness, bowling can be as easy as throwing bean bags at a festival including walking. Get into the groove.

Family is seen as a best option when wanting to take the plunge into the fresh clear waters of the pool and the beach. The flurries of the sand and the wave water moving freshly through your feet. You may have your lunch set up with drinks, snacks, and cool beverages with fun types as buzz brands like Red Bull, Armor, Powerade, or simply fresh water. Remember, personal choice is yours. Family outings can be an adventure when packing the care to a chosen destination. Making a checklist can be a good idea when pulling out of the driveway.

Friends respond to bowling, cards, and board games, along with social get-togethers. Sometimes finding yourselves among people who are excited when meeting, can help distress time before returning to work after the summer months. Christians enjoy fun, too. Faith underscores a need for summer intention and as you rev up this time remain God active in His word (Holy Bible).

Associates are familiar people, where connections make a difference, welcoming people to church functions, thereby sharing impressions of Koinonia. Koinonia expresses an invitation of presence with godly people in a refreshing setting. Koinonia invites persons who may have never been invited to share in the lives of Christians outside of a church or work climate. Meeting has become a different platform online since 2020, until now. Focusing on how to manage socializing during new times allows for organization and invitational outlining of discovery and understanding a new day and age.

Family, friends and associates bring a cool godly presence to the heated temperatures in the summertime. If you cannot meet-n-greet in a large group, ask someone you have not seen in awhile or have been concerned about to join you for breakfast, lunch, a game, or a beverage.
