"Easter Sunday" known as Resurrection Sunday is a time Christians to sharing in the message of hope that Christ our God has risen and is alive. This morning I prepared breakfast for the table in anticipation of hearing a message online by familiar church families and settings. I had and omelet filled with healthy ingredients with fresh orange slices. Being at home as I began to eat my meal, I was partaking of my first helping of food, physical food for bodily nourishment. In delighting in this meal I began getting what I call the ultimate second helping that is often the first helping for those who may not have a personal relationship with Christ. Jesus.
For the person in Christ, the word and message of Resurrection Sunday, based on the Holy Bible indicates the receiving of a second helping to the connecting response of having already accepted Christ's salvation, and so, Resurrection Sunday, called Easter Sunday in the USA attended to by Christians and others alike are invited, curious, intentional about hearing the proclamation of Christ risen from the dead and extending new life and new hope to those who would believe and accept, a personal relationship with He, God. In reflection I had a meal to satisfy my belly hunger and then I received a spiritual meal by the word and message from several churches on Easter morn. My soul satisfied by the week leading up to, that day and forever more. God is good and His mercies endure forever. Listed below are scriptures that apply to the intentional after context of Resurrection Sunday (Easter) by and the church.
