Many are aware of the Family Circle cartoons that have kept us in a belly roll of laughter, from childhood until today's time. There were times we laughed trying to maintain breathing from unbelievable questions and responses that were too, funny. Viewing the amazing and outlandish things children ask and family illustrates expresses truths we all encounter. Post summer is the time we look forward to the changing season's events and times in celebration monthly. We may not do many things, but most of us like doing something, something that includes family. This may include family, friends, church, members, and associates.
Before we spend time with family this season as time moves towards the end of the year, if there are some friction and fractured relationships, beware that prayer, a phone call or a card might set the stage for a kind expression or at least a smile in return. The "family circle". My hope is the circles that we will be apart of will have compassion, kindness, and generosity first to God and then to self. Treat yourself how you want to treat others, within reason of course, for God is love. In this month of October we are blessed with the cool breeze and changing leaves, colorful florals, and good deeds. As a little reminder, draw a circle on a post-it or a sheet of paper and write 2 to 3 things you want to accomplish before the end of the year or ending in October. Place your name in the circle symbolizing you will be able to accomplish these tasks. Here is an example of an October circle below: (I'll do mine on paper)
1) PAPER ORGANIZATION

3) STACK: TEE-SHIRTS 2) GRANT FORMS
4) ETC.
Remember, family stands for familiar, attentive, meaningful, interesting, lively, and rich in grace. These are not only the qualities we want to have for others, but additionally self too. Take an active or proactive initiative to look at your three choice to do this month or for the remainder of the year.
Recognizing "family",
