Shoes?

Walk on...

Have you ever tried to walk in anyone’s shoes, other than yours? My answer is not necessarily, but there are always features of parents, family, teachers, faith-based teachers/mentors and friends in settings where people learn about different areas of development.
Are you walking in your shoes, or someone else’s right now? I’m walking in my shoes, creating my own path God has given me, and I have chosen. While growing up during childhood, there may have been a few things I wanted to do when I got older, but I didn’t really focus on that. My family moved residentially, a lot, so often, I walked in the shoes of education and music, knowing my path would develop in a meaningful way. Seeing and knowing my family worked and provided food, clothing, shelter, and gifts for special occasions, I was thankful. These same shoes led to me asking, “What is my purpose?” “Where do I go from here?” “What will my future hold?” I encourage you to ask these same questions.
Shoes. There are lyrics to a song that talks about, “Boots being made for walking and that is what they do and how these boots may have the ability to walk all over you.” And guess what? Sometimes it appears we are getting the boot, but we are in control of walking by faith in our own shoes while noticing the path that is available to us. Don’t let the the challenges of life, the detours of life, the disappointments of life stop you from moving in the direction God has made for you.
In the mean time, shoo, the devil off your godly plans.
Have a good day and a godly day,
