A Hot Topic from the Bible

During the Summer in the south, it gets hotter and hotter as we try and beat the heat.

The Summer is officially here. Instead of focusing on how hot the weather conditions are, let's focus on a hot topic in the Bible. Prayer. You say, "Is prayer a hot topic?." The answer is yes, depending upon the value prayer has in one’s daily living. What makes prayer a hot topic comes from the known fact and importance that we are in communication to God, expressing a desired connection to Him, by faith with prayer requests as the Bible, says to do. When you consider God is waiting to hear from you. Your prayer request is a hot topic in simply being heard by God. In this post, I have listed a few expressions Christians say that connect with scripture when mentioning prayer, including an expression I created. Here below I have listed a few to talk about them.

"Prayer changes things..."  We often, say this to people to give them reassurance in what they are going through, giving them hope when someone says, "Be encouraged, your situation is going to change, prayer changes things." In knowing this fact we can piece together a description of what this really means. I must have faith to believe that whatever the problem, circumstance or challenge is causing any concerns, I can know, when I pray to God, my situation can change for the better. I can have relief knowing God has heard my prayer, as the Bible indicates taking my prayer requests to Him.

Hot Topic: When you need your situation to change right now and contentment is the answer, excitement resonates, causing a shout for joy to God.

"PUSH" Pray Until Something Happens is a spiritual practice from the Bible that makes plain the scripture that says, "pray without ceasing." Praying until something happens reveals an awaiting for something wanting, to be attainted, either right now or in the ever-present future. Therefore, continue to be constant in prayer consistently to see God move in your prayer life, concerns, and reveal insight, as to whether He wants you to continue a specific direction or make an adjustment to your prayer plea or petition.

Hot Topic: When you become tired, of being  tired, of being sick and tired, of the same occurrences in your life, and you pray until something happens, as your request is answered, you begin to learn God honors commitment to prayer. Knowing this gives reassurance that God Listens.

"This Prayer's for You". You may say, "What prayer?" Who's prayer? What did you pray for me? When sharing this thought with someone in passing, without the presence of long conversation and discussion, my intention is to leave the impression that a prayer will be prayed to God, on their behalf    .

Hot Topic: When you need someone besides yourself to pray with you, due to there being strength in numbers and a person calls and says, "God placed you on my heart" or "I thought of you today and would like to pray with you, if you have a prayer need or concern." You are appreciative and thankful. Why? Someone heard from God about you or thought to consider you in a prayer, for you.

Remember, prayer is always a trending hot topic, but not just a trend in time.

To Be Continued,
