Cool, cool, and cool this is what I'm on my way to. As we in Houston have passed through and been surpassed by, the effects of Hurricane Harvey. Yes, there is still work to do, people to help and make available a place to sleep and eat. People are happy they have resources now, by many means and yet they still reach for the comfort they had and want. Their call is heard.
The Houston area and outer layer cities along with the state of Texas has risen to the occasion of knowing what it means to support and encourage with a heavier work load along with giving time, talents, and tenacity. This is a time to build, to construct and network. Oops, how did that get in there? Well, that's thinking business. This is networking, responding to seeing what happens, when something happens. This especially has an impact, seeing people do, with many businesses and organizations on the ground. The "active response network."
So, yes Fall is almost here. We can feel it in the air. I look forward to wearing my boots, crew necks, sweaters, and tights. These are all, alright with the leaves turning colors, thick robes, and foot socks at night.
As foodie Kim, I say good eats are here and on the way. Let's add a prayer as Texas and the other states recover from all of the storms, hurricanes and excess flood rains.
This prayer says, "We have a hope that recovery is here, available and will occur. Thank you in advance Lord for being on Your watch and bringing help, that is more than sufficient. Again, THANK YA!!!
AMEN
Pray on,

KHM
