When something of importance or critical is happening, knowing where a response will come from, is important. Even better, knowing where the best response will come from is hopefully, wanted. Jeremiah 33:3 speaks about accessing God’s attention and prompting Him to answer right away. The bible says, “Call to me, I will answer you and show you great and mighty things for which you did not know.” (KJV) During the pandemic in the US and internationally, persons sought out help across the globe for insight, research, and a vaccine for cures attending to medical help and assistance.
Medical research was faced with questions of where to create and define assistance to aid in hindering the deaths and illnesses that became many. The medical field responded by placing their lives in between the lines. Citizens submitted themselves to wearing masks for they and others within close, proximity and distancing, protection. Every environment seemed at a haste to disappear, until income strains occurred, like never before, with the government, communities, and people stepping in to alleviate the mass concerns, regarding resources in addition to medical sites in distinct places. These people were the 1st responders, expressing response to a surprising need and happenstance occurring in the world, your state, and at home.
And yes, churches were affected by distancing methods and reorganization of church cultures in the meantime. But God, made Himself available to hear our prayers, pleas, and petitions. And so, we should make ourselves aware that God sees and hears us and by calling out to Him in a way, bringing peace and trust. Ask your self did you respond to anyone during the world pandemic, COVID-19, and quarantine? What did you do? Personally, I called individuals to see how things were going and if anyone they knew had any health concerns. Responding with a call. The next time you think about responding to someone with a need including yourself, remember to call on God, He hears the call of prayer.
From Kim Hatton Ministries--I would like to think I am a responder in prayer when someone asks me or us to pray for them public or private. ~Kim
